# The customer portal

The customer portal is where a buyer and their parties follow a matter, at `/portal`, in the brand's words. Every screen below is the page the brand serves as one provisional patent matter moved. [The customer portal](https://services.dev/docs/app/buyers.md) covers what every brand's portal does.

## Ordered

The AI is working, the $199 is held, and the page says when it's expected and what canceling costs:

## The applicant's turn

Consent comes first. The portal puts the applicant's turn on top, and its list shows what's outstanding for whom:

## With a practitioner

The sign step waits on a patent practitioner, and the page says so:

When the practitioner asks something, it lands in the thread, and it's her turn again:

## Delivered, then accepted

The receipt came back and the charge released. The record shows each step, including a signature the gate refused until every checklist item was affirmed:

## Held advice

On a contract review, a question that's advice waits in the thread until the attorney on the matter adopts the answer:

## After a decline

On a demand letter, the attorney declined on the merits. The matter waits on the client alone, and the portal says so:

Her own link carries the attorney's memo, every attorney admitted where she is who can take it now, by the name they are admitted under, and what ending it costs: only the paid acts so far. She picks one; she never types an id:
